Floating Beds FAQ's |
 How stable is the Floating Bed?Contrary to what you might think, our beds are very stable. The legs at the foot of the bed are inset just enough to create the gravity defying illusion whilst still obeying the basic laws of structure. The visible components are all 32mm thick solid timber, unlike most cheaper beds made from 20mm timber or timber veneered particleboard. The sub frame is 42mm thick hardwood. |
| Why do you recommend a 20cm mattress? This is purely for aesthetic reasons. The 20cm mattress is in the right proportion relative to the sub frame and headboard. However, if you want to keep your 30cm mattress we can raise the headboard by 10 cm. |
| Is the bed base slatted? Yes. We use 70mm x 21 mm slats, all connected with strong fabric straps. |

| What about delivery and assembly? Delivery and assembly is included in the price for northern NSW and southern Queensland purchasers, or can be freighted to your door for easy assembly. |
